This solo piano recital features newly-written homages by Tom Flaherty, Vera Ivanova, Missy Mazzoli, Nick Norton, and Isaac Schankler, performed together with the older works by Brahms, Debussy, Prokofiev, Satie and Stravinsky that directly inspired the new compositions.

Multiple GRAMMY® Award-nominated pianist Nadia Shpachenko will present the Canadian Premiere of works from her upcoming CD in a special pre-release concert at Brandon University School of Music’s Lorne Watson Recital Hall. Shpachenko will perform works from her new World Premieres album Quotations and Homages, to be released by Reference Recordings on April 6, 2018.
