"Invasion" CD post-production is done!
17 days after the final recording sessions for Invasion CD featuring music by Lewis Spratlan (and 6 great musicians who joined me in the Invasion ensemble piece), my portion of audio, program notes, and other booklet info is done! And so are the incredible paintings/artworks made in response to the war and in response to all the music on this disk by artists in Ukraine, which I can’t wait to unveil soon!
In the last two and a half weeks I slept no more than 2-3 hours per night, not at all on some nights. I don’t think I ever did anything like this. This project, which will raise funds for Ukraine humanitarian aid, is monumental and I almost collapsed finishing it. But last night I finally slept and now I will dedicate myself to the GOAT soccer-inspired project, with two upcoming concerts in the next two weeks.
