From Radio Eclectus: It's Lou Harrison week on the Seattle airwaves. Our sister show Flotation Device will be honoring the 50th anniversary of his La Koro Sutro, a landmark of cross-cultural gamelan music that marked the debut of his and William Colvig's American Gamelan. In solidarity, we're encoring this Radio Eclectus program from 2019 that showcases his Varied Trio, interpreted by its first performers, the Abel-Steinberg-Winant trio. 

Plus Radigue by Hélène Breschand, Nina C. Young by Nadia Shpachenko, radical chill music by Niblock, Basinski and Arkbro, and a bevy of Northwest electroacousticians, including Steve Layton, Casey Chittenden Jones, The Late Unpleasantness, Blake DeGraw and Norm Chambers.
