Thank you, Classical KUSC for this spotlight of my upcoming concert at Chapman University College of Performing Arts on Saturday, Apr. 2 at 8 pm!

Premiere of Invasion (about the war in Ukraine) by Lewis Spratlan, performed with Anthony Parnther, Pat Posey, Aija Mattson-Jovel, Phil Keen, Yuri Inoo Miyoshi, and Joti Rockwell, and my soccer-inspired GOAT program of new works by Ian Dicke, David Sanford, Dana Kaufman, Adam Schoenberg, and a premiere by Pamela Z.

Guest Artist Recital: Pianist Nadia Shpachenko
GRAMMY®-winning pianist Nadia Shpachenko will perform new pieces by Ian Dicke, Dana Kaufman, David Sanford, Adam Schoenberg, and Pamela Z (world premiere), all written for Shpachenko’s soccer-inspired GOAT project. The concert opens with the world premiere of Invasion by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Lewis Spratlan (an ensemble piece about the war in Ukraine), featuring Anthony Parnther, conductor; Nadia Shpachenko, piano; Pat Posey, saxophone; Aija Mattson-Jovel, horn; Phil Keen, trombone; Yuri Inoo, percussion; and Joti Rockwell, mandolin.
