10 Canadian Premieres! Multiple GRAMMY® Award-nominated pianist Nadia Shpachenko will present the Canadian Premiere of works from her upcoming CD in a special pre-release concert at Brandon University School of Music’s Lorne Watson Recital Hall. Shpachenko will perform works from her new World Premieres album Quotations and Homages, to be released by Reference Recordings on April 6, 2018.
A program of works for piano, toy piano, flute, and electronics. Premieres by Annie Gosfield, Vera Ivanova and Isaac Schankler, and works by Tom Flaherty, Alex Temple, Jack Van Zandt, and Julia Wolfe, with special guest Rachel Beetz on flute. 4 premieres.
